Top Online Businesses You can Start with Little or No Money

 It is the 21st century an a lot of businesses are being formed online, even offline businesses are moving online so what's your excuse? The internet brought with it numerous opportunities to make money and so far a lot of people are exploiting those opportunities. The good thing about these online businesses is that most times you do not need any amount of money to start. The only things required are:

• A good/working phone or laptop
• Internet access
• Data    

Once the above mentioned have been taken care of, you are good to go. 

Here are my list of top online businesses you can start with little or no money:

1. Online Freelancing: This is an even better opportunity to make money from freelancing, as you would have a wider range of customers. There are numerous sites where freelancers can sign up for free and offer their services to people. Services that can be rendered have a very wide range. From translations to video editing to online consultations. There is almost no limit to what services you can offer. Example of such Freelancing platforms are Fiverr, Upwork, Blend etc. All you need to do is to go to their website, sign up, and start offering services to whoever comes knocking. 

Note: Most times you will be asked for identification so as to be sure that you are competent enough to render the services you claim to offer. 

2. YouTube: It would be a great shock and surprise to learn that one has not heard of YouTube. YouTube is the largest video streaming platform. You will be surprised at how much can be made from YouTube monthly. Ever wondered why most people are going in to production of comedy skits and they all can be found on YouTube? Being owned by Google, YouTube is absolutely free. All you need to do is to sign up with your Gmail, Create a page and you're good to go. Although there is a requirement before you can start earning off the platform. Currently, to get monetized, you will need to have over 4000 watch time hours and at least 1000 subscribers on your YouTube channel.

3. Affiliate Marketing: Did you know that you do not need to own a product in order to make money from a product. In other words affiliate marketing enables you to earn money by selling another persons product. It is a performance-based advertising method where businesses pay a commission on conversions to an affiliate. Essentially, an affiliate earns money by promoting and selling other people's products, just without holding any stock, having to fulfill orders, or deal with customer services. Sales are tracked via affiliate links to enable commissions to be calculated. There are numerous sites where one can get started, but my favorites are ClickBank and JVZoo.

4. Dropshipping: This is a fulfillment method where a store doesn’t keep the products it sells in stock. Instead, the store purchases the item from a third-party supplier and has it shipped directly to the customer. As a result, the seller doesn’t have to handle the product directly.

The biggest difference between dropshipping and the standard retail model is that the selling merchant doesn’t stock or own inventory. Instead, the seller purchases inventory as needed from a third party—usually a wholesaler or manufacturer—to fulfill orders. 

5. Online Classes/Tutoring: Just because somebody is taking classes in a subject doesn't mean they understand the material well. If you're great at explaining things to somebody in a one-on-one setting and have ample experience and knowledge in a subject, consider starting an online tutoring business in that field. You can use video chat tools such as Skype to conduct tutoring sessions remotely and offer your knowledge to anybody, anytime, anywhere. 

The list goes on and on. The general idea is that making money online is something that is gaining ground as the days go by and it will only be reasonable to jump in and start making money with your smartphone or laptop.
